THE ORIGIN STORY

It started with a company that got it backwards.

Before Log Doctor, our founder, Max, worked at another log home restoration company. He watched homeowners get overcharged for work that didn't hold up, and corners cut that should never have shipped. He watched the crew get treated like they were disposable, too.

Neither problem seemed hard to fix. So in 2025, Max started Log Doctor on a simpler model: honest pricing, work done right the first time, and a crew treated like people, not a line item.

That's the whole philosophy. Diagnose honestly, treat the problem properly, and stand behind the work, for the homeowner and the crew both.

We tell you what your home actually needs, not what makes us the most money. If it doesn't need treating, we say so.

Show up on time.

Every crew member, every day. Your home is an investment. Respecting your time is the minimum.

No mysteries on the bill.

Scope, materials, price: all in writing before we start. 'Miscellaneous' is not a line item.

The work is the brand.

We'd rather do fewer jobs and do them right than move fast and leave something half-treated.
